John Sanders, certified diver with more than 25 years experience, is pleased to continue the tradition of offering a world-recognized training center right here in Topeka, Kansas. The only dive shop in Topeka with an indoor pool, our classes are private and personal for the very best, safest training. Topeka Dive Center is not only a place where serious divers congregate and train, it is also a place where beginners can embark on their journey into the wonderful world of SCUBA diving!
Born out of necessity in 1969 to support local search and recovery teams associated with law enforcement, Topeka Dive Center has evolved into a top-notch training center, with more than 6,000 recreational divers certified or referred from the Topeka area. Classes have been conducted at Kansas State University, Washburn University, Fort Riley Sheriffs Office, Shawnee County Sheriffs Office, Jefferson County Sheriffs Office, Holton Fire Department, Topeka Fire Department, YMCA, YWCA, and numerous other locations.
November 1, 2011 through April 30, 2012 operating hours are Tuesday and Thursday 3:00 till 7:00 pm and Saturday Noon till 3:00. After hours call (785) 640-1287.
May 1, 2012 through October 31, 2012 our operating hours are 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Tuesday thru Friday, Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00pm and closed Sunday and Monday. If you need assistance after hours call (785) 640-1287 and with an hours notice will open.
